John Avery had 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns but still the Orlando Rage squirmed past Chicago 33-29 Saturday at the Citrus Bowl. Avery dashed to a 64-yard touchdown run and also reeled in a 68-yard scoring strike from quarterback Tim Lester. Avery also caught three passes from Lester for a total of 94 yards on the night.
